Atlas Cloud is a product concept created by Cordo Labs to illustrate our approach. It does not represent a client engagement, and the names and data shown are fictional.

The challenge

Why a system like this needs to exist.

Many B2B products start as a single-customer app and hit a wall: data isolation added too late, permissions that don't match real organizational structures, and dashboards that slow to a crawl as data grows.

Atlas Cloud is a concept for a B2B analytics platform that serves many organizations from a single codebase. It pairs a fast, data-dense product experience with the platform foundations every serious SaaS needs: tenancy, permissions, billing and observability.

Our approach

How we'd approach it.

The principles that shape both the product and its architecture.

  1. 01

    Tenancy first

Model organizations, workspaces and data isolation before the first feature is built.

  2. 02

    Permissions that mirror reality

Flexible roles and scoped access that match how customers actually organize their teams.

  3. 03

    Fast at any scale

Pre-aggregated metrics, caching and streaming updates keep dashboards responsive.

  4. 04

    Billing as a product feature

Plans, usage limits and upgrades built into the experience rather than bolted on.

Key capabilities

What the platform does.

  • Multi-tenant architecture

Strong data isolation on shared infrastructure, with per-tenant configuration.

  • Role-based permissions

Custom roles, scoped access and audit logs for enterprise requirements.

  • Real-time analytics

Live dashboards backed by pre-aggregated metrics and streaming updates.

  • Subscription billing

Plans, trials, seat-based pricing and usage metering.

  • Admin console

Internal tooling for support, tenant management and feature flags.

  • Public API

A documented, versioned API with keys and rate limits for customer integrations.

Architecture

A system designed to scale.

A layered architecture that keeps responsibilities clear and every part replaceable as the product grows.
