Fernway Ops is a product concept created by Cordo Labs to illustrate our approach. It does not represent a client engagement, and the names and data shown are fictional.
The challenge
Why a system like this needs to exist.
Growing companies adopt tools faster than they connect them. Handoffs between sales, finance and delivery happen over email and spreadsheets, approvals stall in inboxes, and nobody trusts the reports because every system tells a slightly different story.
Fernway Ops is a concept for a services company whose sales, finance and delivery teams each live in a different system. It adds a thin, dependable workflow layer on top of existing tools — so a won deal becomes a customer, a project and an invoice without anyone retyping a thing.
Our approach
How we'd approach it.
The principles that shape both the product and its architecture.
- 01
Respect existing tools
Keep teams in the software they already know — connect it rather than replace it.
- 02
Model the handoffs
Define each cross-team process as an explicit workflow with clear owners and states.
- 03
Integrations you can trust
Idempotent syncs, retries and reconciliation reports that catch drift early.
- 04
Visibility by default
Every workflow step is logged, searchable and measurable.
Key capabilities
What the platform does.
Workflow engine
Configurable multi-step processes with triggers, conditions and service levels.
CRM & ERP sync
Customers, deals and invoices kept consistent in both directions.
Approval flows
Structured approvals with full context, reminders and escalation paths.
Unified reporting
Cross-system metrics built on reconciled, trustworthy data.
Role-based workspaces
Tailored views for sales, finance and delivery teams.
Integration monitoring
Health checks, alerts and replay tools for every connection.
Architecture
A system designed to scale.
A layered architecture that keeps responsibilities clear and every part replaceable as the product grows.

Sales and finance working from the same customer and deal data.
- 02
Approval workflows
Decisions made faster, with full context and a clear audit trail.
- 03
